Sailing for people with disability

Sailability is a non-profit organisation dedicated to increasing sailing opportunities for everyone, regardless of age or disability.

The Club uses Access Dingies and caters for people with a wide range of disabilities and sailing experience. Volunteers (who have blue cards) are available to assist with transfers. Sailors and rescue boat persons are all licenced.

The Mooloolaba Sailability Club sails adjacent to the Mooloolaba Yacht Club on the first and third Saturday of each month. They also meet on Tuesdays for School Bookings and Fridays for adults (usually with a carer).

  • Start time is 9 a.m. to around midday
  • Cost is $6 per client
  • Bar-b-cues are available on Friday and Saturday

Special days can be arranged with no less than 10 people participating.
