Situated right on the beachfront, Seahaven Resort is one of Australia's most outstanding resorts. Apartment 114 is a 2 bedroom fully self-contained ground floor garden apartment; air conditioned comfort, serviced daily and wheelchair accessible. Centrally located, with north facing rooms, beachfront bar-b-cue areas and tropical gardens you can enjoy the most of what Noosa has to offer.

Entrance
Seahaven reception is accessible from Hastings Street via automatic opening doors and the underground car park via the glass observation lift (lift on right is larger - door opening 890 mm). There is also private access into the resort directly from Noosa Beach (gate has a raised security lock similar to swimming pool gates and wheelchair users may require assistance).
Apartment 114 is an open plan design, including a modified bathroom and level access inside the apartment (other apartments have a step inside).
The garden courtyard, beach and bar-b-cue areas are in close proximity with wide paved pathways and corridors linking the different areas and facilities around the resort.
The door into the apartment uses a swipe key and lever handle. Width: 735 mm.
Accessible bedroom
This two bedroom wheelchair friendly apartment includes a spacious master bedroom and a second bathroom that has been adapted for disability access (the is also a small ensuite). The main bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has two single beds.

Bathroom/toilet
The main bathroom has been adapted for wheelchair access. Features include:
- Door opens inwards - opening is 730 mm with level style door handle
- Open shower area with level access and curtain for privacy
- Vertical grab rail in shower
- Hand held shower nozzle with dual height attachment
- Knob taps for shower and basin
- Vanity basin has a half cabinet to allow room for knees when seated
- Toilet height 400 mm with horizontal/angled grab rail on left side
- Rail behind toilet could limit access for over-toilet commode
Kitchen, dining room and lounge
The unit has a large, fully equipped gourmet kitchen with fridge, separate dining lounge area and paved courtyard with outdoor furniture.
Kitchen/dining features include:
- Wall mounted front opening microwave/oven at wheelchair height
- Ceramic cooktop with dials at front on right side
- Flick mixer tap
- "D" handles on bench cupboards
- Bench height 880 mm
- Dining area has a pedestal glass top table
- Dining chairs are cushioned with arms
Relax in the comfortable lounge overlooking the paved courtyard and pool.
The lounge area includes a large flat screen TV, video, stereo system and reverse cycle air-conditioning, all with remote controls.

- Cane lounge provides comfortable firm support - single chairs also available with arms to assist in transfers
- Sliding doors have "D" handle with small step (90 mm) onto deck
Laundry
A shared laundry is available for guests, however this is only partially accessible.

- Enclosed sink with knob taps at back (on wall)

- Undercover parking (no designated disability access spaces available but there is a wide bay near the car park reception entrance)

Areas that are not accessible
In general the resort offers good access. However the laundry, pool and back entrance (from beach) are only partially accessible to wheelchair users.
- One of the three pool areas offers level access and shade areas by the water to relax and read a book. There are steps (no rail) into the pool and a child proof gate to enter
- Small step on sliding door (access to garden and facilities) may be difficult for some wheelchair users.
