DisAbility Talk
This month's Column: Cochlear Implants
Hi, my name is Carrie Tynan and I currently reside in Livonia, Michigan. I graduated from Madonna University with a bachelor's degree in Social Work.
I was born with cerebral palsy, which caused my hearing, vision, physical and health impairments. My goal has always been to help people with disabilities and bring awareness to society. I have achieved this goal by writing about my experiences and related topics.
I currently write a monthly column called Carrie Writes and am writing a self help book for people with disabilities. My life philosophy is to live each day to the fullest and always be positive.
