Fall Brings Change
The warm sunny days have come to an end. Leaving behind cool fall days with leaves changing colors. For those who know me well know I love the cool weather and not a fan of warm weather. I enjoy taking walks through the cool air looking at all the colors.
In my opinion fall is a symbol of change and trying new activities. I am always looking for new projects and new experiences. This fall I decided to join a writers group to polish my skills. Plus I love getting feed back on my work. In the group we discussed writing experiences and do writing exercises so far I am enjoying the group. This month I also completed a six-mile walkathon to raise money for the American Diabetes Association. I love the feeling I get when helping others through charity work. My latest project is writing a self help book on surviving disabilities based on my experiences. My goal is to have the book completed and published next year.
Use the fall season to try a new hobby or make an exciting change in your life. New opportunities can bring new ideas, open doors and just be plain fun. I make it a goal everyday to try something new to enrich my life.
