A modern icon, a new Sydney icon, a Signature of Sydney!
The Signature of Sydney and Accessible Arts are inviting you to be a part of this one-off innovative art competition for 2006!
Artists, individuals, companies, local business and Sydneysiders with a disability can all participate in the Signature of Sydney Art Prize for free (normally $60).
What is the real vibe of Sydney? Isn't our city more a living organism and a melting pot with its people all over the world, its nature its art and all its companies and businesses?
Isn't it time to define a new icon of Sydney? One that is created by its artists and its people as well as the companies that drive this international metropolis?
This is a first time offer exclusive to Accessible Arts and this is your chance to make your mark!
The first 1000 entries will be accepted with the only 100 spaces left! All you need to do is submit your concept first. Then a selection panel will choose the 50 most creative art concepts which are to be exhibited. The judging panel, together with the people of Sydney, will select which 20 artworks should be 'brought to life' via any 2-dimensional media.
If yours is chosen you then have two months to complete the work. The winning artist will receive $150,000, the biggest prize money ever paid in an Australian art competition. The second winner will receive $20,000, the third winner $10,000.
