» Fitness and recreation groups for older people and people with disabilities
Orest Pawloff is a personal trainer with fifteen years disability experience, Certificate IV - Fitness and a BA in Leisure Studies. He set up FitRec to assist small groups of children, people with disabilities and the aged to exercise and stay fit. The general population is welcome too.
Groups consist of up to four (males and/or females) working out in the gym, using some of the electronic equipment such as treadmills, rowing machines, exercise bikes and resistance training (weights).
Larger groups can be catered for but require assistance, particularly in transport.
As well as being a personal trainer specialising for people with disabilities Orest offers assistance to the aged and children in exercising.
General outdoors recreation is offered too, involving fitness, fitness testing and bush walking.
