Mailed out eight times a year, the Queensland Braille Writing Association Magazine contains articles on all these things, plus health and wellbeing, puzzles, braille matters, and news and events of interest to people who are blind or have low vision.
Best of all, it is available exclusively in beautiful braille completely free of charge! All we ask is that our local readers return your copies as soon as you have finished reading them so that others can have a turn.

The Braille Mail
Edited by Queensland Newspapers and produced in braille by the Queensland Braille Writing Association, The Braille Mail is a community project providing access to the news for people with a print disability and is a compilation of articles on current affairs, sport, lifestyle and more … It is published monthly, is free and is available as a 15,000-word hardcopy Braille edition distributed through Braille House. An audio copy, produced by the Queensland Narrating Service is available from many local State libraries, and an electronic copy is available to any person with a print disability as an email attachment, from Lyn Eagers, email leagers@pacific.net.au.
