Braille and Moon tuition
The Queensland Braille Writing Association offers a course in learning to read Braille or Moon to any interested person who is blind or has low vision.
This course is offered at Braille House on Monday, Wednesday or Friday on a one on one basis for approximately one hour. There is a small fee to cover the cost of course materials and an additional deposit is required when a Perkins Braille writing machine is also provided.
Tutors are in place to inform, advise and support clients through the course, step-by -step and to assist where needed.
Braille can be used for just about everything, and we would encourage people with a print disability to learn this invaluable skill which will in turn enhance their lives in so many ways.
