Al Foxx
"One of the best things about life is that you can choose whether you want to be a winner or a loser."

Inspirational speaker, professional comedian and author, Al was an ordinary, active, fun loving teenager until a motorcycle crash left him with a brain injury and half paralysed. Doctors told him he'd never walk, talk understandably, or drive. Al met these challenges head on. They changed him from ordinary to extra ordinary. Today he drives to his speaking engagements, limps unto the stage, and gets paid to share his humorous insights with people who begin to see their own situations in a new light. Suddenly they see hope in their own possibilities.
Al is a professional humorist, inspirational / motivational speaker and has document his story in a book titled 'No Limits".
After experiencing a brain injury from a motorcycle crash over 20 years ago, which resulted in partial paralysis and a slight speech impediment, Al's learned many things the hard way. Listening to the humorous telling of his story will do more than make you laugh. Both adults and students walk away from his presentations feeling empowered to set goals and work hard to achieve them. The years he spent in physical, speech and psycho therapy and in vocational rehabilitation gave him a powerful message that motivates young people and adults.
Al's comedy routines which, to a large degree, are based around incidents that occurred during his long and continuing rehabilitation have been featured in major newspapers, on television and on popular radio stations.

After winning the 2000 laugh off at Giggles Comedy Club in Seattle Washington, Al faced a choice. Did he want to use his humor to just make people laugh, or did he want to sprinkle his humor among his description of his motorcycle crash and rehab story and use the combination to inspire everyone from school children through to professional adults? While still doing clean comedy, his main focus is motivational and inspirational. His goal is to use his experiences to help folks see and reach new possibilities.
Most individuals do not have a disability. Even fewer have had a physical motorcycle crash. However, Al reminds his audiences that motorcycle crashes come in a variety of ways: divorce, loss of a loved one, diagnosis of an incurable disease, or loss of employment. Regardless of the type of 'motorcycle crash', individuals can be over comers - Winners Don't Quit.
For some who have a disability they may never be able to walk again, to speak, or to drive. They may never be the disabled mountain climber, the Olympic sports hero, or a famous personality. More important than all of this is that they live to their fullest potential. A person's value is more about their character than what they can or cannot do.
