Sandra Christianson
Sandra Christianson is the principal consultant and founder of Spectrum Educational Consulting, specialising in on-site preschool and school integration programs for children with autism and other social and/or communication impairments. Another service feature includes her office-based peer play workshops, social skill-builders and holiday programs. Peer play sessions have a unique style and focus on interacting not just acting. All services deliver customised opportunities for meaningful exploration and interactions.
Sandra is an approved service provider under the FaHCSIA 'Helping Children With Autism' scheme. Sandra is qualified as an educator and developmental play therapist with over 10 years of practical educational experience. Her clinic model draws on current theory, research and practice that support children of diverse ages and abilities through play. Sandra has a strong commitment to individualised learning, comprehensive assessment and collaborative early intervention.

Social Skills & Resilience Training
The PALS Social Skills Program (INSCRIPT)
Teaches children about social interaction including greeting others, listening, sharing, taking turns, dealing with feelings of fear, sadness, anger and solving problems.
Bounce Back (Helen McGrath)
Students learn coping skills such as positive thinking and keeping things in perspective as well as social skills such as how to be a good friend, being interesting and managing conflict.
Kids' Skills (Ben Furman)
15-step process which empowers children to create solutions to problems by becoming active participants in skill building and solution finding.

'Fingergym' Fine Motor Skills
'Fingergym' Fine Motor Skills School Readiness Program is a unique Australian-developed, classroom trialed, individual or small group rotation program that uses fun and motivating fine-motor based activities to target many of the wide array of skills necessary to help children become more independent in the classroom. Developed by experienced occupational therapy and education professionals.
Creative Holiday Workshops
A small group friendship program based on mutually enjoyed activities such as cooking, board games, mock parties, sculpture, art and craft.
Learning Support Packs
Selection of inspiring, creative and easily implemented playful learning strategies. Materials are individually designed for professional use in mainstream settings.
