- ONLINE/DISTANCE EDUCATION BASED TRAINING
Online courses and/or distance education are an alternative method to traditional classes and book study. The online and/or distance education courses will offer a wide array of courses that will enable the participant to receive workplace-relevant learning so that they can apply the skills to their jobs right away. As there is no classroom attendance required, the participant can study anytime, anywhere and at their own pace. Each participant will be required to complete assignments and participate in discussion groups to successfully complete the course. The courses will be accredited by registered training organizations.
How will it be carried out?
All participants will begin a particular class at the same time. They can visit the course's website and log on to find class-related materials like syllabi, assignments, notes and discussion threads. Participants taking online courses will have access to and can communicate with the instructors and other participants via email and bulletin board threads. By regularly interacting with the instructors and other participants it will maximize the online education experience - it's the online equivalent to live classroom interaction.
Individuals using the distance education mode will receive all course material and will be required to submit assignments in a designated time frame.
Why Online and/or Distance Education Training?
There are many benefits to learning online and/or through distance some of them include:
- Flexible and Convenient - Online computer classes can be "attended" from any computer with Internet access. These courses allow the participant to schedule their education around them.
- Further your career - They can help the participant prepare for their certification as well as enhancing their knowledge and skills to further their career.
- Cost effective - This mode of education deals with issues of the limited training budgets and the high cost of "losing" work time while the staff are attending traditional classroom training. Our affordable courses allow participants to train when they need to and at an affordable cost.
- Meets your learning needs - Different people learn differently. Online and distance education learning is a self-paced, very informative type of training. The information presented will use a multimedia approach i.e. using text, pictures, diagrams, links to resources on the web, and more! The courses will be packed with a wealth of information so the participant will know that they are getting a comprehensive training.
